SOS Outreach is a non-profit that I volunteer with; it's basically a program for at-risk youth and teenagers that gets them up to the mountains for snowboarding/skiing, and also organizes multiple community service projects with the kids throughout the winter season. Currently I'm a mentor working with 3 high school students that are going on their second year in the program. On November 13th, we're partnering up with Rock Bottom Brewery (Westminster location) for their Winter Ale tapping. On that date they'll have a raffle and silent auction (I'll try to get more details on prizes if I can), and $1 dollar from every pint sold from Nov 13th - Nov 18th will go to SOS Outreach.
Last year I think I went on the Saturday...so I missed the auction and raffle and unfortunately can't really provide any details on that aspect of it. This year I have a training to go to that Saturday though...so I'll probably be there that Tuesday if anybody wants to stop by and have a beer. Details below:
