I haven't played around with too many settings yet and I am unable to find a macro setting. BUT still incredible pics for a phone!

Have you made sure that the camera is set to use all 16mp? Out of the box the camera is set to use less mega pixels. Check the settings real fast.

So far so good, coming from a Galaxy s3 so it is way faster, amazing battery, beautiful screen. No complaints except they did away with the menu button and changed it to a recant apps button. Minor issue but overall awesome

isn't it water proof? Serious, I heard that but not certain. If so, submerged pics would be cool indeed.

Water resistant if the ports are closed not waterproof

The new Sony is waterproof. I need a dive housing for my go pro and I will be good

Really haven't played with it. No macro and to get good pics I had to focus and then pull the phone back a ways till it got clear
