Sea hare vs. tiger cowrie

Hey,
I recently got a reef safe sea hare that eats hair algae. I added him to the tank on the 26th and he's been doing a fine job at clearing out algae. Although recently I noticed that my tiger cowrie (He's been in the tank for around a year now) has been extra perky since I added my sea hare in the tank. Just today I noticed that my tiger cowrie was pretty much on the sea hare. He had his mouth on it and it looked like it was eating it.
So my question is, do tiger cowries eat things like sea hares? I currently have my sea hare in a separate tank so they can't eat for safety.
Thanks

pretty sure tiger cowries are fully herbivorous. but maybe he was attacking the seahare due to lack of food?

There is plenty of algae for him to be eating however after doing a little bit of research it's looking like adults (Which mine is) eat some meat. I've never fed him this, so I may try supplementing his diet with some small meat scraps. Hopefully this will prevent him from munching on my sea hare.

With that in mind, any suggestions as to what to feed him? I was gonna try some "Rod's food" (Used it in the past with a sun coral and some other picky things) but if you have something better I will most definitely try it.
Thanks!

I like the Hikari Mysis. All of my fish and and a lot of my CUC eat it.
