That is most everybody's first impression of him. He will never get overly friendly but is a nice guy. Give him time.

ahhahahhaha, that guy seems to hate his job, hes not very friendly to many people, and doesn't care about many of the customers there. The nicest one is the older lady, Shes very helpful and knows how to help with most stuff. If asking about a product or something I would not go to him, just the old lady.
