Does anybody have a confirmed sighting of Spa Flex in town? I looked at The Home Depot and I was either too stupid to see it, or they didn't have any. I need 1.5" and 1".

Thanks in advance.

Both home depot and Lowes carry it. At HD, it should be on a shelf above all the rigid... at Lowes it is in the irrigation section.

ACE definitely carries it. Pain in the a** to work with though. I hated having to soak the ends in boiling water to try and get a fitting in and forget about taking it back out without cutting it. I started using that vinyl that has the braiding inside and it's fairly good at not crimping unless it is a really hard angle.

Thanks all.

Were you trying to use it on barbed fittings? I just glue it into 1.5" elbows and stuff like regular PVC. I mostly like it because it is way less head than using a bunch of elbows to get upstairs.

If u insert the fitting into the spa flex tube and rotate it the opposite way that the tube ribbing goes it should be fairly easy

You should be able to find it at pool or spa places. To make it easier to work with, get a heat gun from Home Depot or lowes for like $15 and use that to warm the tube. Way faster and easier than boiling. I used them all the time working on hot tubs, especially in the winter.

I used "ultra flex pvc" in ordered on line. Ended up about 1/3 the cost in comparison to in town. Even with 40 in shipping. And yes, same sizes and glue as schedule 40.
