What kind of lights did you grow these under I am interested.

2 - 250W Phoenix 14K's. I just last week put 20K Ushio's but the 20K look just like the 14K's but not as bright. I also have 270W of DIY LED's from Rapid LED (all controlled by the Apex) but mainly used to supplement.

Kind of off topic but a good friend of mine has only LEDs and we have 95% of the same coral. He has the original ecotech radions (2 units) in the same size tank as me (72 gal bow) and his just grow a lot slower.


I'm also going to throw in some dragon's breath micro algae and small frag of red planet.

I wouldn't be hesitant if my tank wasn't so new. I think LEDs will work but system is just still so new if that makes any sense. Glws. I may hit you up soon though lol.

You should, Andrew. Dave has great corals! An awesome guy, and definite asset to the club. I think we bought frags of most of these from him, or I'd have snatched this pack up already. Less than $10/frag?? AND dragon's breath + a bonus frag? Have you lost your mind, man? That's a sweet deal.

Dave is great guy he hooked me up with corals back like 3 years ago when I 1st started reefing and I have most the corals he is selling in my 73 gallon witch is 2 months old now under ai sols and they are doing great. Just had to bump up my % on the LEDs other then that they are doing awsome.
