SPS killer, WATCH OUT!!!

#1
So today I finally found the culprit of all my sps problems, I hope... I have had problems keeping sps in my previous tank which was infested with these little guys. I did not know they were a problem at the time but seemed to breed rapidly so when I moved I got rid of most of them. Today I actually spotted this guy attached and nibbling away at the rainbow poci I got at the dbtc. After doing some research I have found the species, and sure enough, an sps eater. Watch out if you have these in your tanks!

Here is a link, not the exact same time as I have but the same species

Hmm that's weird I have one the same size as yours and same type of snail and my tank is full of SPS and I've been doing fine and have never had a problem with it grazing on my SPS that's weird

From what I read the bad ones are the keyhole type. They have a large opening on the top of the shell, many people have mixed reviews. some say they are the devil and some say they are fine. It must be a very particular type of limpets, there are quite a few from what I've read. I was off all day and watching the tank quite a bit. This morning everything was looking great, and then tonight about 1/2 inch of the pocillapora was almost fleshless. I look on the backside and there was the snail, eating away.

Do you think it could have just been eating the algae off the deadspot that something else actually chewed on prior to its arrival? I have never had any of these hurt anything in my tank, even the bright yellow "keyhole" kind.
