Hi all,
I am a student at Columbine and this past year I have set up my own tank at the school (with the help of my teacher Jason Webb) as part of an independent study on aquarium and marine sciences. I am now about to graduate and I will be leaving the country at the end of the summer so it it impractical for me to keep and maintain my tank and I want my fish and corals to go to a good home. I have purchased some items in my tank myself, but I also have received many donations which I am very grateful for. My tank is small and I don't have much but if anyone knows of a student or school tank that would like to have a little more live rock, a few more fish, or a coral please let me know as I would be happy to donate.
Please forgive me as I do not know the exact names of everything, but here is what I can think of now:
1 banggai cardinal
1 Midas Blenny
1 blue Chromis
Green Fiji leather toadstool (one large and one small)
tan/yellow toadstool
a cluster of green/orange zoanthids
a smaller cluster of pink Zipper zoanthids
a branch of trumpet coral
approx 30 pounds of liverock
a small cucumber
4 or 5 hermit crabs
5 or 6 nassarius snails
3 to 4 turbo snails
I have a few other hard corals that have not done very well under the light despite my attempts to heal them, but they can probably be saved.
I also made a bunch of quality fish food that I then froze for a nutrition assignment, I'll throw some in if you are interested!
Please let me know if you would like pictures of these items or would like to come by and see them and we can negotiate.
My tank is at columbine high school (the school will be open until the end of may so ideally in the next few weeks).
