I am in Aurora. I never used it myself but when I put water in to initially clean it (didn't do a great jobLOL!) it didn't leak. If you'd like you could fill it with some water here and see for yourself. When I bought the tank it came with everything had been drained but was still hooked up and there were no signs of any leaks and it's just been sitting since then so I am confident it's OK.
