I can't find anyone local who stocks them. let me know if you find someone. Also, I'm likely going to place an order Aquacave later this week - let me know if you want in.

I have a bunch of VHO bulbs that I picked up along the way, some are used and some are new so I was told, however I do not know which are which.
A few are obvious with black on the end of the bulbs but others are hard to tell. I am not using them and would take a frag or three for them. I have 5 and 6 ft bulbs.
I also have the retro VHO ballast (unkown brand they are huge though, X 2) that ran 4 x 6ft bulbs, if anyone is interested.

T12 VHO bulbs have actually been made illegal to own, manufacture, or operate in several states.

The rational being that a T8, T5 or smaller bulb uses far less glass, phosphurs, and electricity, as well as taking up a lot less room in a landfill, and release far less toxic gas if broken.

Personally I think it's a bit crazy to outlaw them, but as more states jump on the band wagon, more manufacturers have dropped the larger bulbs in favor of smaller diameter replacements, which are probably much cheaper to manufacture as well.

The only size that we can even order are 4 ft T12 VHO's, and supplies are getting more and more limited.
