I have not yet added sand to my aquarium and have been researching which one I might like. I have grown very fond of Tahitian black sand but have read that it has magnetic / metallic properties and it isn't good if you have a magnetic pump or powerheads or magnetic cleaners. Can anyone tell me if they have black sand....has it caused problems...would you recommend it....are there any solutions if it does cause problems?
