Tank recommendation

I am on the process of trying to get everything together for my 175. How much sand would u guys recommend i use?i have never setup a tank by measuring how many pounds i used but i dont want to much or to little in tank. I dont want a super dsb .

I did 60 pounds in my 90 gallon and it's 2" deep I think you can get away with 120" in yours

Got 80lbs of sand tonight

if you dont want wrasses I recommend going bare bottom. much easier on the maintenance. and more places to grow coral

I think what have along with your 90 will be plenty imo.

I will have 120 lbs of new sand i am thinking that should be enough

+1 on bare bottom. I struggle to keep nitrates above zero. Sand requires too much maintenance and traps the bad stuff.

I would consider it but i have a wrasse in my tank now that will be making the jump to the 175
