So where we live we're on a community well I've been doing some investigating and it looks as if maximum tds legally is 500 I tested my water and I'm at 530. I've been flying through filters how do I go about reporting high tds levels? Where would you start?

From what i understand they are allowed a buffer of 100ppm during summer months when aquifers/ resivors are lower. Not sure if that is true where u live or not. Otherwise contact city officials and they should be able to tell you

Where are you at Craigar? I'm in south Denver and run the water from my hose into my 5 Stage with TDS meter and only see a max of 40 tds when I first turn on the hose...but it goes down to 1 or 2 tds at input within minutes with 0 tds at output. 530 seems absurd. Maybe something wrong with your source water?
