Thank you Jason for your selfless time and contribution towards the reef aquarium at Columbine High School. Your kindness has brought comfort and happiness for a whole community of people, even those who were not directly involved in the tragedy at your school. Kudos to you for bringing the ocean to the students of that school for so many years, and for mentoring so many young people in how to care for a reef. I cannot imagine the change you have brought about by doing so.

Thanks Kris, and all of you. This is entirely unnecessary but appreciated. It was a rough night last night after draining the tank.

It has been pretty special to have such a supportive reefing community. This past weekend I got to meet many people whom I only know by screen name, and it was good to put faces to names. I should have attended more meetings! I will likely be on the board, cruising and offering an idea or two as I can. I hope to see some pics of the critters in their new homes eventually--and I hope to hear that they continue to thrive. I never thought of them as "pets" but now that they are all gone it is a weird feeling.
