300lbs of liverock for $400.


Yup, I've tossed and turned on this for a couple weeks. Some recent developments have been a deciding factor. I am only doing to do one thing at a time as this isn't a fire sale and to be fair to everyone, I don't want to string anyone along time-wise. I don't want someone waiting on a piece of equipment for 2 months because I still have stuff running. SO...starting with liverock...

Probably 300+lbs of Liverock. I'm hoping to sell it all for $400. Easily under $2/lb. Wanting to sell all together, good deal to split up if people only need a 100lbs or so. A few awesome shelf pieces over a foot long easy. Some big base rock that I made all the overhangs and caves with as a foundation. I cherry-picked this rock when I started in the hobby.

PARTING: 50lb increments only. $2/lb

You can see half of the rock in my 225g Youtube vid in my signature. Keep in mind what you see in the video is only half of my tank as it's an island overflow. Oh, and for those curious, I'm not getting completely out. Thanks!

Here are a couple pics I forgot I still had on Imageshack. There is actually more rock in there now than in these pictures. For frame of reference, the tank is 72" long, 24" wide and 30" tall.

Bump, getting back to normal after being gone for a couple weeks dealing with the death of a family member. Need to get rid of livestock and break this tank down ASAP.

Update...looks like taking about 200lbs of rock into the sump a couple weeks ago has made all the difference. I'm winning the hair algae battle! Of course, right when I'm breaking down. All the rock in the sump are clear and many rocks have tons of coraline. 80% of the rock left in the display is now clear as well!! Ready to unload this stuff. Come get it and I'll throw in a frag of something!!

Updated top post...parting out in 50lb increments. I have small to XL, shelf, base, some tonga, etc etc. Most of this was cherry picked when I got in the hobby.

Trevor, you'll want the rock too. Even if the tank just runs with rock for a year. It'll cost you about twice this amount to get this nice of rock again.

I'd have to get the cost on the tank first. Frankly I'm looking for a project that I build in the garage until its ready for show time. I'm in no hurry... And cash isn't exactly plentiful right now but I'm always in for a good deal
