Want to borrow/rent T5 fixture

My ballast died on my planted setup after 6 months of use. Awesome.

Wondering if anybody has a T5 fixture laying around that I could borrow or rent for a frag or something. Would prefer a 30" so I can just pop my bulbs in to keep it simple....but I'm sure anything 24"-36" will do the trick. Only need to run 2 bulbs so even a semi functional quad fixture will do the trick.

I should be covered by the warranty...just need something til this gets replaced. Right now my tank is being lit by some CFL desk lamps that I keep around for these situations...but they're not ideal and I don't wanna lose months of growth and start from scratch.

I don't have a fixture, but do have a ICEcap ballast I'll let you use. Call if interested 720.985.8075

Thanks for the offer. Right now I'd rather not dig into this fixture and alter it by replacing the ballast, as I'm hoping they allow me to send it in for warranty coverage.

That being said, if the give me the shaft, I'll take you up on the offer so that I can light the tank temporarily while I build a DIY led for a replacement.

That'd be awesome. I can get it from you at the meeting if that works; my CFLs should keep the plants from declining until then.

Called them and they're going to send a new ballast to me in the mail today. It was either that...or I send the entire fixture to them (at my cost) and they mail a new one back to me. It was tempting, but a longer turn-around time and I'd rather not kick out $25+ to ship something that shouldn't have broken in the first place.

Chad, I'll hopefully only need that fixture for about a week or so. Thanks again
