Bought a bottle today and decided to dip a few corals out of the frag tank, as I followed the instructions to a tee. As I put them back in frag tank after double dip rinsing all my shrimp went upside down and are now in a a dif tank about dead. Im hoping that they come back its almost like they got knocked out!!That's a 4 pepermints, 2 cleaner , and 1 scarlet. My mandren, scooter, wrase ,Pom Pom crab, crabs, snails seam to be fine . So I don't know if some chemical affects shrimp but it was almost instantly.

Weird I dipped alot and didn't rinse and my peps and other shrimp were fine. Hope they pull thorough. With 2 rinse's no way it's from the dip. Just my 2 cents.

Could be the batch I've used everything on the market and no probs with them. Did u have shrimp? For 7 shrimp to be belly up that's pretty suspect!! Just saying

Research on the other sites since there is a lot of evidenance that is saying rps doesn't kill the eggs as advertised. It does kill the bugs that are already hatched. One thread on R2R did a comparison, and the tester liked rps the least. Just wanted to throw that out there.

So I did some google research on rps all out kills shrimp and there has been some other problems. Other people's shrimp lay on bottom and twitch and look like they are hanging on to life. Which is what mine Are doing . It seams that there is no such thing as rinsing to much. To say the least even if my shrimp pull through this product should be used at your own risk, and I wouldn't take a chance with it again. I will post tommarow on the shrimps condition. They kinda look drunk lol

According to Unique Corals website
http://uniquecorals.com/default/mor...-solutions-all-out-coral-dip-4-oz-bottle.html

They have a note that's says the following warming and suggestion.

NOTE: Should not be used on fish, shrimp, crabs, snails, clams or other invertebrates! Because the formulation has a penetrating agent that will be rapidly absorbed into soft coral tissue and released again over a short period of time, we highly recommend a quarantine period of about two weeks before placing them into your display aquarium.

Vince got in touch with RPS and they said to make sure it is rinsed well and to quarantine with a quality carbon... makes perfect sense. If i would have done the same with my Bayer advanced dip, i probably wouldnt have lost my pod population...A simple 10g tank with a heater and a HOB filter would be perfect and cheap for a QT setup...a single t5 or a par30 bulb would be sufficient lighting for most coral.
