Alright so i have a bunch of crushed coral from a tank i dont trust, its been dry for six months. Is it safe just to drill some holes in a bucket and rinse the same with fresh r/o water?? Or should i bake it?? What has anyone had luck with

Also i have currently wet sand from my old 150 that ran for 9 months, i would like to re-use this sand as well, how should i clean it??

Just reuse your old sand and get new for tge rest it's cheap insurance if you want sugar sand to mix with your current catfish Charlie's has it for $9 a 30 lb box
