Being that they are maintaining separate product lines...I would think prices will start to go down. Sounds like the focus is just saving time/costs on R&D, which is usually where those high price tags come from.
We'll have to wait and see I guess; fingers crossed!
This makes sense. Seems to me that the biggest threat to either of them is IP theft from China... and a numb American population that doesn't care. I don't see competition between the two bringing either down. I wouldn't be shocked to see Tunze join up with them in some way... even if it is only enough to share oncoming litigation for Patent infringement pursuits.
wow that is crazy news. i hope it is for the benefit of reefers but i know greed speaks loudest in the business world. Like Comcast buying Time Warner and now making a deal with Netflix. I really doubt we will see better pricing, if anything they will agree to gouge. Only time will tell. For now, I love my Hydra 52's
