What are these? Some sort of pod?

They were on the bottom of a frag plug, about 3-4 MM long, and the frag plug was laying in the sand. My guess would be isopod. If they are, how do I tell if they are the safe ones, or the bad ones?

Do they curl up like roly polies? If so, not harmful.... cant remember name but looked them up months ago.

LOL - Looks like my auto complete was WRONG!

They didn't roll up, and I don't think they are amphiopds. I don't see any legs, or antenna. They look like a chlton, that moves very fast.

I'm thinking isopod, but one that is a detritus eater, not a fish parasite type. These were found on the bottom of a plug, that was in the sand. I also only have one fish, and have only had the one fish for 8 or so months. He is fine, and I have never seen anything like this stuck to the side of him.

If anyone else has more/better/different info, please share.
