It came from nothing... suddenly appeared. Texture of a cabbage leaf.

Keep it or pull it?

I have one of these in my tank too. Its been there for a couple months, never really grows any bigger than it has, doesnt seem to bother anything and looks pretty cool. Not sure what it is, Id like to know too, but i left it.

u have any tangs? i have 2 lights over my sump, a red and blue LED over half and a 6k white over the other half. this stuff grew on a rock on the purple side and i threw it in the DT to see if it would spread up there... my sailfin took one look at it, picked it off the rock and the hippo ate it in 2 chomps. never saw that stuff again

No tangs in my tank. It's been steadily growing the last three weeks. We'll see how big it gets. I'll bust out the good camera tonight...
