Ehh... I've never seen one at the LFS, but I'm sure you could get one online or something.

Not sure if this counts but I bought live rock from someone, got it home, had it in a a brute garbage can in the garage (with heater and pump). Put it in my display a week later.... Within a day after that I noticed I had a blemmy. I called the guy and he said he thought the fish had jumped out or something. So this blemmy was a hitchhiker for me.... about six years ago now.... and he's huge.

What a great story! Geeze, how big a rock? He was hiding deep in some hole? Sounds like he's a senior citizen in fish-years, heheh.

Rock was huge with tons of holes. I have a pair of Percs that are confirmed 11 yrs old.. That seem unreal but absolutely true.

I've gotten some teddy bear crabs as hitchhikers and they can rip up a reef tank quick. Once they make a hole in the rock it's hard to get them out.

Wow great finds everyone. My buddy got a piece of rock from a guy in Denver and found a blue hippo tang in the middle. He had to break the rock to get him out but what a find lol.

Ive had a mantis, luckily he went in a bio cube i was working on, so I just kept him there for about a year, before he outgrew it and I got rid of him. Last time I bought rock fomr a LFS I cam home to find a mini maxi, and I mean mini maxi, this thing was the size of a quarter and never got any bigger. Bought a decent size piece from Elite a couple weeks and the thing was full of bright green nudis, or at least I think their nudis, ive counted 5 in my tank so far and the aptasia has pretty much gone away, NOW THAT WAS A SCORE.
