Clove polyp is a soft coral. Don't know much more about them. I'd wait for some more comments to be sure though...

I'd just relax, let everyone get home for the evening and check the forums... There will be more comments on what it is. Then if it is a Clove keep it! If its aptasia we will tell you how to safely get rid of it. No need to do anything just yet, they don't multiply that fast!

Looks like clove polyps to me, never see aptasia that stay that small and close together.

I'd say clove polyp, not aptasia, just my opinion. Hard to get a good look in the picture...

I've had aptasia before and it didn't look like this. This has been growing out of my coraline for a few months now.

Yea that is it. So should I keep it and grow it out away from other rocks or just let it spread?

Its a clove polyp a purple clove to be exact. I have them too. Totally harmless. They will spread but they are beautiful! Dont even stress!

Very nice, will spread like a weed. I have some blue ones I got from majicmike, I isolated the rock and it grew to cover a 10" x 8" rock
