Where these days to get common and more unique clean crew? That hare around still?

Starting to get new tank algae fun. Partially hurt by that my rod scraper I didnt think to realize does not work well with a hood...... That and I made sure to start light so I only have a handful of critters, and recently caught the H. Tusk trying to get a snail. (Saved it, but might explain not seeing my few crew as much lately.)

Might have to resort to turbo's when usually I would want to do only Trochus/Nassarius.

Looking to get a few more of the small conch's, nassarius, trochus, maybe a few hermits but leary and probably a sea cucumber. Think a sea hare might be fine, but sure a lettuce nudi would be a snack.

As expensive as Trochus/nass seem to have gotten almost want to try chiton and others from reefcleaners, but looking for something local north denver thru fort collins.

I was expecting it to maybe go after hermits and any shrimp. Thought trochus sized snails would be safe. May have to instead go for ultra small and ultra large.

Feel like I feed it a lot already.

Sadly he's turning out to be a bigger jerk than expected. Instead of being bullied. (Small sailfin tried dominating him and failed hard) He's claimed one whole rock pillar and occasionally will make passes and small nip attempts on the others. In particular seems to hate the blue head wrasse who rarely comes out. (Blue head same day as Tusk, but spent first day hiding)

If the algae is filamentous then get a rabbitfish. If not, then mexican turbos will be safe from the tusk.

It's just film algae on the glass. Left it so long it's starting to get tiny dot clumps that are growing. Flipper arrives saturday. I actually have a sailfin and a foxface. Not really doing much to it ;p.

I need to research most reef safe urchins might be my best bet due to tusk and blue throat trigger when it gets bigger.
