which is your favorite phosphate reactor

Just curious what everyone thinks of certain brands. I've been really trying to not get one of these since it's something else to plug in. I did carbon in a sock on top of my return pump until this week. (I know lol, it's better than nothing!)

Virgil was kind enough to let me use one but I need to get my own so I would like to know if there is a preferred brand or model I should be looking it. I was told to stay away from two little fish brand so far.

Two little fishes have unbelievable customer service!! I recently had an undue and called them and they sent a brand new one out no question about it!

Two little fishies is the best. Sent me out free parts too when a new item shipped broken. No questions asked, new replacement parts and their reactors work great. I run two, carbon and gfo.

I was told the BRS Reactors are Excellent! I've heard nothing but great things about them specifically the side by side or dual unit so you dont have to replace both mediums at the same time. I'm in the market for one as well :) Bump

BRS bro, hands down is the best. It is made 100% better then the two little fish reactor. If you want to see the difference come over and check mine out.

I have a dual BRS reactor. I also have a Two Little Fishes reactor on a shelf in my garage.
The BRS reactor is really stout (It's made from the same canisters that RO/DI systems use).
I've never tried the Two Little Fishes reactor but it's definitely more fragile than the BRS.

Check out avast marine. Hey sell DIY kits usually about 20$ cheaper than the others and just a little bit of work.

Hey guys, if you go to BRS and look at a product price, lets say its $39.99. Next to it it says "buy 3 for $37.50" or "buy 5 for $35.00" the "buy 5" is the GB price you just dont have to buy 5 of them anymore, so you can figure out what your going to spend. Also the "buy 3" is the perferred pricing that you will get for life after your first GB! HTH

I guess it says "as low as______" until you click on the item, that "as low as" is what you pay with the GB.
