So I'm driving back from north Wyoming this evening after visiting Mt Rushmore. Signs posted saying winds from Cheyenne to Denver are peaking top speeds of 75-80mph. My truck on some gusts is being blown nearly off the road and I have passed 2 18wheelers which have had their trailers blown over.
Those of you on the road be careful out there and those in the area of high winds, PLEASE be careful and aware that even "safe indoors" isn't necessarily safe. 60+ winds are hurricane force winds, capable of stripping shingles, siding, roofs...
