I know this is probably a long shot, but figured I would try here first. Looking for a 250w 48" Aqua medic halide light. The one I just purchased was a 36" and the guy told me it was 48". Sold my light fixture first so had to take it and now looking for one. I could trade coral for it as well. Please call or text me at 720-250-7672. Orr pm works good too.

I have one that you can borrow until you get something... if the one is not cutting it. I don't want to sell it, though.

Want to trade it for a 36" with 2 t5s built in? It's an aqua medic as well. I have an oceanic tank with the center brace and just need the lights to be a little wider.

I need to bring you the one I borrowed when I pick up the frozen food. :p

Not an easy fixture to find. I'd like a 48 or 60" one with two or three halides. People seem to be horsing them now that they don't make them. They were a great value! I'd like to take the t5's out of one and add led strips to it for the color pop. No one is making a decent looking halide fixture for a reasonable price anymore. :(

Call AquaMedic and let them know that they are stupid for stopping selling them right when so many people are wanting MH again. There is about a 50/50 chance that you will get a jackass on the phone, but it is worth a try.

There is a 48" one on eBay... shipping is high, but maybe $250 shipped.

I got extremely lucky and got a screaming deal on a 72" 3x250w aquamedic fixture from a SCMAS member down here in the springs. I'm really excited to have it on the 180. I think for the time being I'm going to run the t5s but eventually I'll prolly replace them with custom LED stunner strips. It definitely seems like halides are making a come back though, and hopefully they become more affordable to purchase fixtures
