So I've got a small aptasia problem I'd like to get in front of. Anyone in or around Longmont have any peppermints they are looking to part with that are proven aptasia eaters? Would also prefer if they don't have a history of bothering LPS.
I've never had one go after my lps but that reminds me to keep an eye out when I get some. I'd say go to Catfish Charlies since that was where I got a ton of them awhile back that ate aptasia like crazy, but he's closed down I hear. As a side note, those shrimp had to be traded when they ran out of aptasia - they started in on my rainbow anemone. If anyone has any left once J-don gets his, I'd be in the market as well. Picked up some rock that has some new guests. I'll keep a lookout for you too, J-don
Order some from the Florida Keys. They have always ate the aips for me. You sometimes have to kill the bigger ones with some kalk since they might not go after these. You can get for-sure Florida Keys peps at reeftopia.com.
Yea, I'll probably head to either Aquamart or GWA tomorrow since I haven't gotten a response, but Longmont is kind of right in between those two, Aqua Imports in boulder doesn't have any peps in stock, and I like to avoid the drive when I can.
I'll definitely have to keep an eye on my BTA, but I'm hoping my hosting perculas will keep the shrimp scared off.

The ones that are eating the 'nems are most likely from the other parts of the gulf. Some of them will eat LPS too. Get the ones from the Florida Keys. It matters. It matters a LOT.
