Just manually remove on a tank that small. Fill a syringe or pipette with some aptasia X or Kalk paste and inject it into all the aptasia.

I prefer to do things naturally. Carib peppermint shrimp work also. However they will decimate my pod population. Throwing the balance off using chems has had disastrous affects in the past.

Again this post is to buy a nudibranch. Not for advice on my problem. Thanks.

I can tell you from experience and from years of seeing other peoples experience with aptasia it's not a good idea to get livestock to remove aptasia in a small tank. You will starve the nudibranch and it will die and ammonia spike your tank (likely before all of the aptasia is gone). A single peppermint would be okay but like you said you don't want to decimate your pod population. That leaves one good natural option...kill them with Kalk paste. Kalk isn't some chemical that will hurt your tank. I use Kalk to supplement calcium and alkalinity. Doesn't take much, just a tiny drop of paste on the aptasia and they are gone for good. If you have to kill a bunch and your alkalinity raises too much from the paste slowly dissolving, then just do some water changes and your back to normal with no aptasia.

That's your experience, and since you have Zero idea how many tanks I have, please keep it to yourself. After 30+ years in this hobby including interning at an aquarium and managing an LFS, I am qualified to make my own decisions.

I don't know if you are on Facebook or not but there is a guy in the springs names Randy Newcomb, he was going to sell me 2 for $20. His post is on the group "Colorado Reef Keepers" and was made on June 22. He was actually looking for rock over run with Aiptasia to feed them, and wanted to make an aiptasia tank just for the nudibranches to feed. People also suggested Aquatic Arts for them, might be worth checking into. Good luck.

No need to be a d**k about it. When you see someone who has been a forum member for a year and asks about adding berghias in a small tank usually means noob. Just because that might not apply in this case doesn't give you the right to blow up. Forums are meant for discussion and debate and that includes criticism. You never know what good bridges you might burn with that kind of response rather than respectfully disagreeing.
