WTB BIG RR tank

#1
I am going to move in july and am thinking of consolidating my 2 55's into one larger tank. I am going to be looking for a townhouse and insisting on a first floor directly on concrete. So theoretically I might be able to get a large tank if the price is right (I would want to have it before the move so that I could make the transfer only once.)

SO ... if anyone is getting out of the hobby or wants to get rid of a large reef ready tank / stand, let me know. I don't really like deep tanks, so I am thinking 24" deep, 24" wide, and 6-8 ft long. I prefer T5's or LEDs to MH. I might be interested in a sump, but dont really need a massively expensive baffled sump since my old 55g will do fine and I tend to prefer fairly open plans anyways.

I have been contemplating selling my 135gal RR tank. I purchased the entire set-up (tank, stand, and canopy) new in 2004 and it was up and running for approximately 5 years. I haven't given alot of thought concerning prices, but we can talk if interested.

So, now I've had a chance to look at some dimensions for tanks and apartments, and I think what I really want is a 180 gallon 6'x24"x24". I really prefer the length to too much added height. At a minimum, the tank would have to be drilled (or I suppose I could look for a place to go get it drilled). I would also like a stand and hood, but I could also probably build one myself if needed. Already have my 55 that will be converted into a sump. If anyone sees something like this used or on the cheap let me know!

If not, anyone know some local people that might sell drilled (or drillable) 180s?

Thanks for all the help!

Check craigs list. I saw a 180 on there just yesterday with stand and canopy for $600 with lights I believe.

Just put the inquiry in on this one

Not a bad deal with all equipment included. Anyone with experience moving something this size. Is this something two men could carry upstairs or do I need to assemble a posse?
