If no one has one I might start working on a DIY project for this using my Mag 3 pump I have sitting around. From all the DIY canister filters I have seen none of them really have the design I was thinking of, but the one I thought of this morning would be perfect. I just have to find the right size container that has pressure seals to keep it from leaking.

I picked up "perfect aquarium canister filter system" on ebay. It was like 53 bucks shipped. Its rated for a 100g but I have it on an overstocked 30g. I've had for a few weeks and the tanks crystal clear and the filter is silent. I'm very happy with it.

Woah!!! nice find. Read somewhere that the Perfect Canister Filter is made by SunSun. They also said that SunSun makes the Marineland filters and some other vendors. No one had bad comments about leaks or breakage. One person said they have had it for over 2 years and it ran quiet without any leaks. This will be the one I get in a few weeks.
