Looking for a working hang on back skimmer for my 120 gallon. I've used Coralifes before and, I know a lot of members poo poo them, but I've never had issues with them, so a Coralife model 125 would work fine. I have also looked into the Octopus BH-2000 which looks slim and easy to clean - has great reviews. If anyone has either of these in good used condition or another well-reviewed HOB skimmer for 120g and up, please PM me - thanks!

I used a HOB for my 90 with no refugium/sump and it grew all kinds of cool stuff like mad. It was packed with live rock and the skimmer it used was a Coralife 65, way underrated but skimmed like crazy and kept my levels to 0 easily. I sold that one due to finances, then had a drilled tank, and turned out to be too much trouble and more maintenance than I ever had on my non-drilled, so I sold it. I was happy to find this one with no holes, lol. I think there are some awesome drilled tanks+refugium systems out there, just not for me.
