Talked to these guys at macna, this thing is pretty versatile, only thing I really don't like is the web browser based interface, otherwise it seems like a pretty solid product IMHO

have not heard of this one. Will check it out. Is anyone running this? I would be concerned that all data is sent to them and any stateful firewall would allow return traffic. Last thing I want is someone else turning off my pumps, ATO, Heaters Chillers, Lights, ect. Neptunes I get the data from the webserver on the unit and control the traffic flow on my firewall, no third party. If someone is running this I would be interested in conducting some tests, but would need a PEN test agreement. :) I will call the manufacture and check it out though.

Good choice. If you need help with anything, let me know or put a post on the neptune forums.

So installed the Apex. All is on the way, still a lot of work to do. However I am struggling with one issue. I hooked up the pm2 module, and see it under modules. for awhile I saw conductivity on the dashboard. now nothing, not even the second temp on the pm2. Opened a case with support but they are very slow to get to anything "troubleshooting". All day emailing, what you have, what you hooked up where, what version, model ect. I have yet to get one step to try to fix it and they don't answer the phones, and you cannot wait until they are available.

My dashboard simply does not have the pm2 data. My graphs ddoes not either. But my module shows up, has a solid green light, and is on the updated firmware. I have power cyled the pm2, and the entire system. What else can I try, I really want to start gathering this data, even if I have to figure out how to add to dashboard later. when I edit now I have 1 extra but it is blank and looks like video/streaming.

Can anyone help?!

Yes, and it was on my dashboard, then disappeared. for awhile I could see it on the old status dashboard. I had disabled the temp on the pm2 since I don't have one, per the manual. When I go to graphs now, its not an option anymore. So I don't know what the heck to do.

I hit edit and see one, but its a fugly white box with urls looking like video feeds or something. When I add it I get just the white box with streaming urls.
Support emailed back, they think they can fix it with a telnet session if I open my Apex to the public world. No steps to try first, no details of the problem. Seriously, not even a webex or ssh? I thnk I will conduct some port scans now. Anything else you think I should look for.?

Change the probe names to anything but temp, pH, temp2, and cond. Then reset the system and then change them to whatever you want.
