WTB Pearlberry Acro; This has been on my list too long and didn't see it this past weekend, although some have said they did buy it at MACNA. If you have a frag, let me know. If you can order it, pls also let me know. //Dave

I was there Friday the 29th and Chris didn't have any. He had fragged his gorgeous pearlberry but all the frags RTN'd. He said he's not going to try again anytime soon.

I bought a fairly sizable colony this weekend that needs to heal and color up.

I also broke down and bought a frag off of Jason Fox's website about a year ago. The color is crazy but it's a very slow grower and it's no where near fragging size.

If you're willing to pay the premium, you might want to try Jason.

I talked to ORA last weekend. They still have Pearlberry but are not having luck with growth or color. They told me it is browning out shortly after fragging. They also said they need 1000 frags before they can distribute it. That said dont look for it anytime soon.

Hmmm $70, $80, and $90 respectively. Never heard of the two vendors you mention, but I can personally vouch that you pay for what you get from JF. I do agree that he is on the higher end, but part of it is reputation. This coral is really hard to come by. Good luck.

I know that you want to buy some, but if you don't want to pay the premium to get it, then the only other way is to grow out a frag of some really nice SPS and trade it. People will come out of the shadows to trade for other LE or high end SPS. Most of these same people won't frag to sell.

If you just like the look, the Greg Hiller Aqua Delight is about the same coral.

I don't mind paying for it, just $90 for 1/2 or 3/4 nub is more than I've seen at other places that have it online. I'm going to get it, trade or otherwise, I just wanted to see if anyone here locally had it to sell. My intent wasn't to turn this into a vendor debate. I'm frugal, but not cheap - big difference.
