Thanks to ChrisBrown, I think I need a tube anemone. Want a brightly colored one. Anyone know of LFS that carries them or anyone looking to get rid of one?

Thanks for letting me know about Aquamart having them in stock. It takes me about an hour to get down there, but I went today and bought both the tube anemones they had. One is pink with green mouth one is pink with dark blue mouth. I'm a happy camper.

Mine has 2 - 3 inches of the tube above sand, sometimes when I am stirring up my sand bed I'll pile it on higher, but never covering the rigid structure part. As for the rest of it's body when first placing it in the tank I dig a long trench in the sand and do my best to bury it as deep as I can. I also read you can take a piece of PVC pipe, put the tube anemone in most of the way and then fill with sand. I thought that might make a cool raised "anemone island" and the PVC will collect coraline pretty quickly and blend in. I found the PVC trick described here: http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2004/6/inverts under the heading of aquarium care.

Pics - or it didn't happen. :)
Haha. I was just trying to get pictures when I read this. I cannot get good pictures in my tank! Ticks me off. Here is pic, but it doesn't do them justice.

Another pic. I thought to begin with both were pink, but I think the smaller one is orange.

My plan is to get some pvc, rub some glue in on it and roll it in sand so that it blends in, and stick them in there so none of my sandsifters bother their tubes.
