I am setting up a 5 gal nano for my son, and need to find a piece of glass or acrylic that is 4" by 12". A little shorter would be ok too.

I would rather do acrylic, because it won't break as easy.

Does anyone have an idea of where to find a small piece or some scraps?

projectx - Problem solved. We just got a new fridge, and the drawers to the old one was still in our garage. I cut one up, and now have a bulb shield for his tank.

I'll post pics after I get the LED, and get them mounted in there.

I have to admit, I patted myself on the back after coming up with that solution. Very DIY, and on my son's tight budget.
