I will sell the whole 300+lbs for $400.

--OR--

50lb increments at $2/lb.

Lots of BIG shelf pieces, base rock, some tonga branch, small to large...etc etc. I cherry picked most of this coral when I was getting into the hobby. You can see half of the rock in my 225g Youtube vid in my signature. Keep in mind what you see in the video is only half of my tank as it's an island overflow. Oh, and for those curious, I'm not getting completely out. :)

Here are a couple pics I forgot I still had on Imageshack. There is actually more rock in there now than in these pictures. For frame of reference, the tank is 72" long, 24" wide and 30" tall.

The dry rock is selling becuase this is what most reefers want to start with. Most reefers (IMO) will buy live rock, acid wash it, let it dry and start over the curing process just to be sure there is no unwanted pests or hitch hikers, by buying already live rock its actually creating more work for those that do it this way, Id make you an offer, but it would be low ball, I do need more rock in the near furture, just not quite right now.

I would respectfully have to very much disagree. Liverock goes from $5-7/lb at most reputable LFS because it is such an easier way to start a tank. It is much LESS work starting a tank with liverock than going through a long cycle and preparing rock if it needs be. I did exactly that with my rock, which was an ordeal when you're talking large amounts, and there are no pests. Anyone can see this rock first hand. We all know that pests are almost unavoidable unless you're really lucky anyhow. Unless someone truly QT's EVERY addition to their tank, including CUC...nothing is 100%. I honestly wish I would've started with liverock in hindsight. I've started several tanks now with my live rock (3 nanos) and none had a cycle, which is a very nice feature.

Anyhow, just my .02. Oh, and please, no low-balls. ;) I think the price is MORE than fair for choice/cherry picked rock!

Ive seen your rock Evan, not saying anything about the quality, just explaining to you why the dry stuff is moving like hot cakes and the live stuff is not.

I guess it just depends on the person. In hindsight, I wish I would've started with liverock!! It's how I've set up every tank since my initial build.

For an initial tank build I would too start with fully cured live rock, but when adding rock to my established DT I will never put anything in there that I personally have not QTd or cured myself, theres way too much at risk, thats just my personal opinion. Ive seen to many things go wrong.
