I'd be throwing you an offer if I had my sump question figured out yet. Just waiting on a couple emails from people for decision time. I'm becoming impatient as great deals keep passing by on skimmers. I guess there will ALWAYS be more deals. ;) I know patience is a virtue in this hobby...but I don't have any when it comes to at least getting water in the tank to start the cycling!! lol

Some of the slower builds seam to be the ones that last the longest. The quick builds are the ones that continually need tweaking and changes. A candle burned at both ends burns brighter, but one burned from one end last longer.

The skimmer is still running in my sump at this time, but I think I am going to be removing it this weekend to get it cleaned up for the next owner. I think you should have plenty of time, but I would also keep in mind of skimmer size when choosing a sump. The EV-120 is one of the smaller footprint skimmers, but I would definitely leave plenty of room.

BTW. Mine also has the JG Fitting on the collection cup, so you can have separate container to keep the skim.
