This is a very large Brittle Star that needs a new home. It is to big for the tank it is in(Redsea 34g). In Fort Collins and would like to trade for a frag. Would really like to get a Frogspawn Frag.

Yes this was posted a few months back. Wasn't able to hook up with anyone so I kept the starfish. Now it is even bigger.

If I do not get response locally I would be able to come that way this weekend. What color is it?

I got a frag from craigars frog spawn and it is the brightest frog spawn I've ever owned. You wouldn't be disappointed.

He has never touched any fish. When I bought him about a year ago they said that he was a green Brittle Star. There definitely is never any left over food in the tank. I really like the Star Fish It is just to big for my tank now.

While on the subject are star fish asexual? I haven't added any rocks in a long time, However I have lots of little tiny white Brittle Stars in my tank and I do not know how they got there. Just curious.

marine i think this is a serpent tbh. I always use to tell the difference between the brittle and serpents by the center disk. Serpents dont have much of any pattern on them if you look at your pic... its pretty much predominantly green. but if you look at bluezoos pic, that pattern thats on it generally are what i see on brittles to differentiate them. If theres enough food... it wont attack a fish, but one that size could easily down a full size tang if it was hungry
