He is about 2.5 inches across. Bright green with a hot pink mouth.
He didn't bother my cleaners or fire shrimp, or other inverts, but last weekend I introduced a new mandarin into the tank, and it swam right onto the nem and died.
So trader beware of slow moving fish with poor instincts.... (it never bothered my Randall's goby who lived under the same rock it was on)
The Miniature Carpet Anemone (Stichodactyla tapetum) resembles the more common Carpet Anemones like S. haddoni and S. mertensii but stays much smaller, only reaching a diameter of about 2.5 inches. It has short, bead-like tentacles across its surface and a longer fringe of tentacles along the outer rim. Color can vary and may include brown, tan or green shades.
I'd be interested in trading for interesting coral- I have a mixed reef with a lot of LPS, some softies, a couple pieces of SPS, NPS)
I live in SE Parker, but can make arrangements to meet somewhere, as needed.
