Hi guys just got home from work and now have the time to respond. Very sorry about that scratch. Sucks super bad that you decided to make the assumption that I was being secretive about it or trying to screw you over or something. I absolutely didn't know about the scratch and am a man of integrity that certainly would have told you about it otherwise. I told you this in person as well in my shock to find it but i guess you chose to assume i was just a liar. These things happen and I apologized to you for the inconvenience genuinely. As for buyer beware, I agree and had it not been for all the comments already present here I was planning on updating my ads anyway tonight showing lowered price due to a deep scratch dead center being found. You were angry? Again very sorry. i was pretty upset about it too. Went inside and was very frustrated at the scratch that seemed to appear out of thin air. I was upset 2 fold myself. One because of the inconvenience it caused someone (you). And secondly because I genuinely didn't see it and knew that it would reflect on my character. You however don't know me and shouldn't jump to assumptions. Anyone that knows me on either forum would I'm sure vouch for me being honest and stand up about any and every topic. I don't lie. When I told you there were no scratches, I had just finished tearing down the nicest tank I had ever had. It was one of the finest I had seen in my time as a hobbiest and I know there are others who after seeing it in person (without a scratch in the middle of the display) have agreed and even commented to that fact. While inside frustrated at the unknown scratch my wife supposed (and i believe correctly so) that it must have occurred unbeknownst to me while I was removing the rock and sand I sold to a fellow hobbiest. It made since to me too. It's an accident that went unnoticed until you pointed it out. The tank was cleaned in low lighting in a living room and carried by me and 3 other hobbiest during the evening to a dim lit garage No one (again including me) knew that there was a scratch. When I resealed the over flow, I did so in that same dim lit garage after work (730pm = dark). Now after all is said and done, I'm not trying to excuse a scratch. That isn't the goal. There is a scratch, it is noticeable and is in direct view. Now I know that and it will be a part of all my ads. The point of my response is, don't attack someone's character when you don't know all the facts. Your assumptions and negative character reference on my profile are unnecessary. I didn't at the time realize that you had traveled all the way from Westminster Again my apologies to you, genuinely I never intended you inconvenience of any kind and was under the impression you were coming to see my well priced beauty of a tank. The scratch came as a surprise to both of us.
