$500 OBO for tank, stand, false hood, and plumbing. (I'll also give you all my misc supplies for the hobby)
TANK DOES HAVE A NOTABLE SCRATCH ABOUT 2-3" IN THE DEAD CENTER OF DISPLAY - this scratch is accompanied by smaller surrounding scratches and is suspected to be the result of a large rock hitting it accidentally while being removed.
OVER FLOW RECENTLY RESEALED - (pulled out a custom back ground and in doing do "pushed" up against the over flow enough to need to reseal, so resealed it.)

Is this still available? I'm thinking about upgrading from my 125 to something a bit bigger, and reef ready.

Buyer Beware:
This tank has several scratches on the front glass. One of them is deep enough to be easily felt with your fingers, so I would call it a gouge. He also said that he had to resilicone one of the overflows right before our arrival because it had been bumped hard enough to break loose.

This seller claimed it was scratch free & in great condition during negotiations. We drove from Westminster to the Springs to buy it, along with two friends we recruited to help load and unload it, based on what he said. It was a 3 hour round trip to be there less than 5 minutes.

wow that sucks!
You could say that a couple of times and only be half right. I was so angry I couldn't speak. It's a good thing that Mike is more diplomatic than I am.

Yikes, glad I didn't get more serious about it...was in the question stages. Thanks for the heads up, just stinks it went down that way Cindy. :(
I hate calling people out on stuff like this, but I just didn't want anyone else going through the same BS we did with this guy. What kills me is that he swore up and down he didn't see the scratches after explaining the silicone smell, and they were glaringly obvious. Then we barely got a 'sorry, man' as we walked back to the truck to leave. I'm willing to bet that he was counting on me buying the tank despite the scratches because we drove so far to get it, even though Mike specifically asked if there were any scratches. And that's just not cool. At all.

Hi guys just got home from work and now have the time to respond. Very sorry about that scratch. Sucks super bad that you decided to make the assumption that I was being secretive about it or trying to screw you over or something. I absolutely didn't know about the scratch and am a man of integrity that certainly would have told you about it otherwise. I told you this in person as well in my shock to find it but i guess you chose to assume i was just a liar. These things happen and I apologized to you for the inconvenience genuinely. As for buyer beware, I agree and had it not been for all the comments already present here I was planning on updating my ads anyway tonight showing lowered price due to a deep scratch dead center being found. You were angry? Again very sorry. i was pretty upset about it too. Went inside and was very frustrated at the scratch that seemed to appear out of thin air. I was upset 2 fold myself. One because of the inconvenience it caused someone (you). And secondly because I genuinely didn't see it and knew that it would reflect on my character. You however don't know me and shouldn't jump to assumptions. Anyone that knows me on either forum would I'm sure vouch for me being honest and stand up about any and every topic. I don't lie. When I told you there were no scratches, I had just finished tearing down the nicest tank I had ever had. It was one of the finest I had seen in my time as a hobbiest and I know there are others who after seeing it in person (without a scratch in the middle of the display) have agreed and even commented to that fact. While inside frustrated at the unknown scratch my wife supposed (and i believe correctly so) that it must have occurred unbeknownst to me while I was removing the rock and sand I sold to a fellow hobbiest. It made since to me too. It's an accident that went unnoticed until you pointed it out. The tank was cleaned in low lighting in a living room and carried by me and 3 other hobbiest during the evening to a dim lit garage No one (again including me) knew that there was a scratch. When I resealed the over flow, I did so in that same dim lit garage after work (730pm = dark). Now after all is said and done, I'm not trying to excuse a scratch. That isn't the goal. There is a scratch, it is noticeable and is in direct view. Now I know that and it will be a part of all my ads. The point of my response is, don't attack someone's character when you don't know all the facts. Your assumptions and negative character reference on my profile are unnecessary. I didn't at the time realize that you had traveled all the way from Westminster Again my apologies to you, genuinely I never intended you inconvenience of any kind and was under the impression you were coming to see my well priced beauty of a tank. The scratch came as a surprise to both of us.

Thanks for the reply. I have stated the facts as I know them.
The pics shown in your ad posted a week ago were of this tank empty, set up, and inside. I don't understand how you could have missed those scratches.
We left your house early yesterday afternoon, and you did not choose to modify your ads until after being called out on the issue over 24 hours later. There's a reason I waited so long to post a response. I was hoping you would modify the ad of your own volition.
I do, however, appreciate the offer of gas money for my inconvenience. How about you donate that money to MASC, instead? I didn't call you out on this to gain anything, financial or otherwise. I just wanted to give people a heads up.

I have met Joseph on several occasions and he is a class act; a man of integrity who seems to hold himself to high morals and values. I vouch for Joseph and trust in what he says. Things happen. I drove all the way to Salida, CO, to buy a light from a guy who was coming from gunnison. I waited at our meeting spot for over 2 hours. I called, sent text messages and called some more. No answers and no response. I headed home plenty frustrated. However, realizing that things happen, I chose not to go onto scams and blast him. The next day he sent me a text message aplogizing profusely for not making it. He was in a car accident coming down monarch pass to sell me the light and that is why he didn't make it. Things happen.
