300 gallon saltwater tank breakdown

#1
Hello all,

New to the site here. I just purchased a 300 gallon salt setup that I am changing to a freshwater Frontosa tank. I don't know much at all about saltwater equipment. I am looking to sell many items from my purchase that I will not need for what I am changing the tank to.

Found this site in hopes of finding buyers before I place adds on CL.

Here is what I have-

Power Pro SS protein skimmer model pp4MDQ/SS. Skimmer is almost 5 feet tall.

Huge Refugium (48"-22"-18")

Mac 3.0 amp, 1/8 hp, 115 volt, model TE-5-MDHC water pump

Couple older Little Giant U62 water pumps

Couple nice light setups

A ton of Lace rock/base rock (not sure of the difference).

A bunch of fossil corals

Just looking to get fair for both buyer and seller prices on all items.

Not sure how to post pics yet on this forum. Pics are on a post of mine on the cichlid forum- http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=234870

You can contact at- amkilpo@comcast.net

Thanks

Yes, I got the tank from the guy in the Springs on Wednesday. It is acrylic. Had to drive back up on Friday with two trucks to get the rest of the stuff. Now I'm just a little worried about whether my floor will support the weight of the tank....that would be bad! Think I'm going the get a contractor in to make sure it looks good.

I am in Highlands Ranch, just off of C470 and University if anyone wants to come by and look at the equipment. I will be cleaning tanks all day so should be home.

After searching the web I found a couple sites with the skimmer, looks like it it a special edition- There is a Little Giant model 4 pump on the skimmer now which the seller told me was almost new. That can go with the skimmer or without.

Still have not been able to find the refugium anywhere. It looks like it could be a Trigger Systems from the looks but I can't find one this big on the web. The refugium is 1/2 inch acrylic.

Ruc_dog and scubasteve I will give you a call about 11ish.

Thanks

Cool...I had my eye on that for a good while. I was starting to seriously consider it for my reef but you snagged it up! You might have to go with a few joist braces if it's a basement or something. Depends on how it runs over your joists as well (parallel or perpendicular). Best of luck!! Oh, how was the acrylic's condition? I can't imagine buffing out a 300. Took me several nights, lots of hours, to do my 110...PITA!

Acrylic seems to be in real good shape, haven't had time to clean it out yet though. Been too cold to spray it out on the grass.

Tank going on main floor with walkout basement below. Walkout is not finished yet so it shouldn't be hard to add some sister joists.

Awesome...sounds like a great project then!

WOW...I thought my 12-15 hours was a PITA!! I can't imagine an entire workweek of straight buffing. It was worth it in the end for me (for the most part)...but investing 40 would be a hard sell. ;)

[attachment=60163:name]gle find and can't figure out how to adjust the temp on them.

The heaters say Meiko, last letter may be an a. AH-451, 110V, 450W, R51046, it has some what looks to be Japanese wording on it as well.

Anyone have any ideas as to what these are or how to adjust them?
