58 gallon oceanic with stand, 29 gallon sump + almost an entire set up $500 OBO

Are you thinking about putting together a NEW salt water tank but don't want the stress of buying all the parts separately? Then this is the thread for you!

With the heaviest of hearts I will make the long story short. Over the last year and a half I have been putting together pieces to get a 58 gallon tank with a 29 gallon sump going but due to having to move I need to sell it. I was almost ready to set it up so basically everything you need is included. My loss is your gain! Priced to move!

Why is some of the stuff used? I was cycling some rock in the bottom of the stand in a 29 gallon sump I made. I ended up dropping and breaking the tank when I took it out for cleaning (baffles survived though). I bought a brand new tank to replace it, but never ended up setting it up again. This is why some things like the custom cut glass baffles, sea salt, and red sea teasing kit will be labeled as used.

I am selling the entire lot as one package. Everything in the pictures is included, except the obvious stuff like my kitchen table/chairs, Broncos jersey, etc. Everything is brand new unless otherwise stated. Everything is sold as is, no refunds or returns. Cash only. Pickup is in Fort Collins. Post any questions you have and I'll try to respond as quickly as possible. I reserve the right to accept or reject any offer at any time.

If I end up getting multiple offers over my buyout price I will take the highest offer. Please make all offers PUBLIC!

Here we go!

58 gallon oceanic tank and stand (used)
2x40 lbs bags of Carib Sea Aragonite Sand

Looks good with wood/laminate floors.

Not a great picture of the back but it is open and has a bar that is useful to hang things on.

29 gallon petco tank ready to be turned into a sump. This tank fits into the bottom of the stand. It comes with 5 custom cut glass baffles. I had some rock cycling in another tank and dropped/broke the tank when I took it out for cleaning. The cutom baffles include 2 bottom pieces with rounded edges and 3 upper pieces. Some of them my require scraping of the old silicon off. I also include one unopened and one half used tube of RTV 108 (clear) and one half used tube RTV 103 (black) silicon.

Flipper tank cleaner
2x Jabao WP-40 Wavemakers
Jabao Wavemaker Pump controller
Oceanrunner PH2500 pump
Oceanrunner OR2500 pump
1 inch BRS glass drill bit (used once)
2 inch BRS glass drill bit (used once)
1/2 gallon of BRS Carbon
1 LB BRS GFO
Drill guide
PVC cutter
Half can of green gorilla PVC glu
Clamp sump lamp with LED bulb(used)
Magnetic Led sump light
One package of composite shims unopened
One package of various sized clamps (I used these when I silicon baffles)
Partially used bag of zip ties
1 medium net
1 small net
1 three dose package of Magi-Clean

Two ghost overflows. I accidentally bought two for some reason (there may or may not have been alcohol involved). They are not identical but similar. They both have 2x two inch intakes and 3x one inch holes in the bottom. Both are brand new.

Red sea testing kit. This is used. From shaking the bottles against my ear I'd say they are half or more full.
Refractometer-used does not include pipettes but I think one ended up in the red sea testing kit.
Custom built bottle drying rack. (In reality its just a piece of wood with zip ties, but works extremely well for drying out testing bottles.)

One of every aquavitro chemicals except the 8.4 pH which there are two but one is only half full. Except for the one 8.4 that is half full all of the others are unopened.

20 lbs BRS dry reefsaver rock
20 lbs BRS dry pukani rock
4 lbs BRS dry tonga shelf

20 gallon brute trashcan with lid (only used to mix salt water)
1 small gravel cleaner with short tube (used)
1 large gravel cleaner with a super long tube. (used) This is the one they sell at Petco with like a 30ft tube that connects to your sink for super fast and easy cleaning.
4 feet of clear flex tubing 1 inch
1 foot of braided flex tubing 1 inch

[IMG2=JSON]{"data-align":"none","data-size":"custom","src":"http:\/\/www.marinecolorado.org\/filedata\/fetch?filedataid=23840&type=thumb"}[/IMG2]

All the 1 inch fittings you'll ever need.

10 ft black 1 inch flex tube
3 ft black 1/2 inch flex tube
BRS carbon/gfo reactor.
2 Home Depot buckets (only 1 lid)
1.05 gallon BRS space saver container

There is also a 65 lbs bucket of aquavitro salt that is about 60% full.

5 BRS 5 STAGE PLUS RO/DI 75 GPH /w TDS METER-This is used as well. Only used on a 29 gallon tank for around 6 months. It has been idle for around 6 months but kept under pressure.

Well that's it folks. I just want to wrap up by saying there are a bunch of little extras I didn't list. You don't have to take them if you don't want but they will probably end up in the trash if you don't.

I'm not sure what happened with the photos. I had them all uploaded but when I went to post it said there was a limit of 5 attachments so I ended up deleting them so I wouldn't lose the whole post.

If you decide to part out, I might be interested in the plumbing parts, depending on their size, as well as the 2 bags of sand

Thanks, I'll keep it in mind. I really don't want to part it all out individually, but may have to if there is no interest in the combo deal. All of the plumbing parts are 1 inch.

My plans are to leave it posted on here till this weekend, then post on craigslist. Then I will judge reaction and start parting it out if I have to. I would rather someone from here get it since this community has helped me out a lot.

Can I please purchase one of the ghost overflows? Surely if someone buys the entire thing, they'll only need one :) It would help me finish out my build.
Thanks!

For now I'm just going to keep it all together in case someone wants to buy and part it out themselves. If I end up parting it out I will let you know. If I do sell the whole thing I'm sure whoever buys it would be willing to work with you.

I understand. Would you mind possibly letting me borrow the 2 drill bits to drill my overflow and return? I can pay to rent them from you. My cell is 469-682-6163 easier to text than check here.

I'm sorry man, but I don't really feel comfortable doing that. They really aren't that expensive if you look on BRS or Ebay.

I might be able to help you out. I only have two sizes, but I'll send you a text with the info. Sorry to sidetrack this thread.

I also wanted to add that the 29 gallon tank fits into the bottom of the stand AND comes with 5 custom cut baffles from Blacks glass in Fort Collins. Two of which have rounded edges on one side so they can safely sit on the silicon on the bottom of the tank. I used them to construct and amazing sump and cycled some rock (while in the bottom of the stand) with a couple blue damsels for 4-6 months. Unfortunately I dropped and broke the original 29 gallon tank when I took it out for cleaning. I bought a brand new 29 gallon tank but never got around to reassembling the sump. I also include several tubes of silicon so you can make it to your desire.
