It brings me great pain to be posting this, but the time has come for me to get out of the hobby, at least for now. This is not a permanent departure; I'm keeping my mp20 and RO machine as a reminder and motivation to start again. I am getting ready to move for the second time in less than 12 months and I'm coming to the realization that this is just not the right time in my life for me to try to take care of a reef tank. Just not enough stability right now.

Up for sale is my 58 gallon reef ready oceanic tank with all equipment except powerhead. Dimensions are 36"x18.5"x21" tall. I would like to sell all of the equipment together just to make things easier considering the fact I live up in Silverthorne. Pictures can be found in my build thread which can be accessed via the link in my sig.

Included:
58g oceanic reef ready glass tank (36”x18.5”x21”) (some minor scratches due to sand stuck in the mag float)
grey wooden stand (not the best looking, but it gets the job done)
Custom MH/actinic light fixture (175w mh, 2 65w pc bulbs)
Ghetto stand that holds the light
50-60lbs of very live rock (copepods, feather dusters, clove polyps, purple coraline, etc)
50 lbs fine white sand
Two almost new heaters 1 300w 1 200w
Euro Reef skimmer works flawlessly, not sure on model
return Pump
mag float cleaner

Livestock:
Snowflake Clown
Randall's goby
McCosker's wrasse

I would like to donate all of my corals to the dbtc, hopefully Chad (CRW REEFER) or someone else can hold onto them until they are given away. They aren’t looking great right now, but it looks like most are still alive including sunny d’s, pink zippers, 5 color rainbows, an acan, hammer, frogspawn, and some other random zoas.

I feel like I am forgetting to list some info, but that’s all I can think of right now. Feel free to ask me any questions. I’m not even sure what a fair asking price is, so shoot me some offers or just tell me what you think a fair price would be.

I'm about to hit the submit button on this thread and it's making me feel sick to my stomach :(

Ok, I'm home now. Was at dinner with the wife, and didn't take time to read the whole post.

If you are in the middle of a move, and/or don't have a bunch of time, why not sell/give away your livestock, and hold onto the tank till things settle down? That way, it will be much easier to start back up, when the timing is right.

Re: 58g RR Tank FS (w/everything else) :(

When I start back up I want to do things a little differently. Bigger most importantly, at least a180. I also want leds and a real sump since I've been using a ten gallon tub for the last few months. The number one reason I'm taking a break is because I don't see myself living in one place for longer than a year for the next few years. I'm probably going to move out of the state soon and possibly out of the country while I'm still able to. It will probably be a while before I return to this hobby, but I know I will once I'm tied to a more permanent location.
