Aiptasia! Looking for a copperband

#4
I had a couple a little smaller then a baseball when fully opened the Klein took care of them. Took a week or two before he started eating them but once he did it took like a week to clear all my aptasia

Berghia nudibranch is suppose to be the best. Thats all they eat. Someone was asking for them in the classifieds a few days ago, hunting for a local supplier. I'd see what came of that. Otherwise http://www.saltyunderground.com/ always has them

Be warned, copperbands are known to eat zoas as well as other anemones (such as bubble tips). I personally don't think that getting a fish is a good solution to aptasia. You can rid it from your tank just as easily by injecting them with kalk paste or aptasia X and adding a couple peppermint shrimp to clean up what you couldn't reach.

Locally Neptunes should have Berghaus in a few weeks but if you want to go in on a order with me we can split shipping on it

Dam never heard of them eating bta! But u never know!
Never owned one myself, but scared myself away from them after hearing stories on reef central that they went after all sorts of coral including: zoas, acans, favia, nems, sps, etc. Some of the ones I read even indicated that happening and the aptasia being basically untouched. Not worth the risk IMO.

Right on, that is what I thought. I've never used them but have heard good things. From what I've read, the big drawback to Nudi's is that many fish like to eat them.
