We've got a client who is done with her tank. After approaching us to remove it and not wanting to pay for the time / labor involved in tearing it out and the tank not being worth anything to us or of any use to us we have elected to post the entire system here, damn near FREE!!
300 gallon reef ready acrylic tank (96x24x30)
1 refugium filter
1 berlin filter
Asm g-3 protein skimmer
Panworld 200ps/blueline 70 pump
2 qty tunze wave pumps (not sure which model)
3qty 400w sungrow metal halide (bulbs 400w 20k radium new in august)
Icecap 660 ballast (one ballast out)
2qty 6’ vho lamps
200+lbs of live rock
Mostly soft corals such as various leathers and cabbage coral.
There may also be a large purple tang, we're not sure.
There is a reactor or 2 and RODI + LLC unit that are NOT part of this deal.
The acrylic tank is in VERY good condition. The tank is built into some cabinetry, a few trim pieces will need to be removed and the tank should slide out. One of the MH ballast has gone out as well. There is a melted area that has cracked a little on one of the top braces. Has not affected anything and could easily be patched but is not necessary. This is a great start up tank but will probably need a few upgrades down the road.
The tank / system itself is free, however, I'm asking $150 for my time invested in putting this together as well as my time for the tear out as I'm being required to be there.
This has to be set up for a Saturday following the new year, must be set up in advance as well. You MUST bring 3-4 strong guys, enough buckets / bins to haul ALL the sand, rock, corals and any fish we may encounter. You must bring everything needed for the tear out and clean up, and ALL equipment must be taken. I will provide a long 1" hose for draining and suction cups to help move the tank. I will take out the reactors and RODI unit as well, but other than that I'm solely there because the former client requested it.
