I am thinking of adding Anthias to my tank. I would like feedback on these fish. Have you had good luck?, what type do you have, etc.
I only have 5 fish in my tank, so I think I have plenty of room. 65 gallon Red Sea Max.

I have box anthias, 1 male 2 females. The male is very aggresive and likes to rule the tank. Females not so much. Like to eat daily. I feed them pe mysis shrimp and spirulina brine shrimp. Outside of that they don't bother my corals and I really like their colors. I would say easy to care for. Here is a link that pretty much sums up my exact experiences.

They are beautiful fish, I think that my McCoskers Flasher wrasse may not get along with another aggressive orange face:) What do you think about blue green Chromis, I read that they are peaceful?

I love my chomis
I have 4 in my 65g and they are always out in a school
fun to watch and behavior wise you couldn't ask for better tank mates
The colors on them are nice also
I might get 4-5 more when I get into my 90

Anthias are very cool fish, but are high maintenance, need fed at least once daily, and are very skiddish/ jumpers.
Chromis are a great schooling fish that are much more hearty than anthias, but may be more aggressive, and fight with each other till there is only one, highlander style.

What type of Chomis do you have? Do they fight with each other?

I've never kept anthias due to the high maintenance + relatively high price tag so unfortunately I can't help you there.

I can tell you that chromis are generally on the opposite end of the maintenance and price spectrum. I started with 8 in this tank and am down to 6. The two littlest ones did indeed get picked off although there was less decapitation than Wicked Demon depicts.
I like them as they are pretty but they are also easily the dumbest fish in my tank.

Lyretails are relatively cheap ($20 at Premiere) easier than given credit for (I feed maybe 5-6 times a week and feed more when they are looking skinny) and fun to watch.
Bartlettes are also cool and mix with the Lyretails but they are double the price.
