Well my water cooling reservoir for my gaming PC sprung a leak a week or so ago. It is an XSPC reservoir still under mfr. warranty, BUT, they aren't returning my emails.

The problem is a small acrylic bolt. The head of the bolt has broken off causing the seal it had to allow water to leak out(it functions as a plug for the acrylic reservoir.

So I have looked far and wide at every hardware store, website, and all the specialty bolt sites I could find, with no luck in finding what I need, in any material. To make matters more difficult, neither my local Lowes nor ACE have a thread guage(why the fk would you not have a thread guage in your bolt department?), so I am not 100% on the pitch.

What I can say is it is a 7/16(11mm). The pitch is either 18 or 16(1.5 or 1.75) Does anyone happen to have a bolt of either of these sizes or know where I can find/order one? The length of the shaft needs to be a minimum of 8mm, if it is longer I'll cut it to length myself, but it needs to be threaded to the head and it has to be a water proof material(aluminum, acrylic, stainless steal...). And any type of head works as long as it has a flush bottom(has to hold down and seal the O-ring).

Any help with finding a replacement is supper appreciated. Gaming is how I make my money so I have essentially been out of work for a week now.

Might be you find someone with access to a 3d printer.

On a side note and not to completely thread jack I'm curious how it is you make mullah playing games... Dev, Tester, Engineer, pro gaming circuit?

I would try McMaster.com, just type "bolt" in the search, choose the basic type of bolt then use the menus on the left to narrow it down.
look like 7/16 comes in 14, 20, 24 tpi

Well tbh what I do is technically against the terms and services of just about every game I do it with. But I have a fondness for mmo games that usually makes me level faster than most people, so I just rage games and sell the accounts, or in some cases I will grind for rare items and sell those. I am by no means making bank(about $7 an hour avrg) but the plus side of it is I can work when I want on what I want and I don't have any bosses.

And that is a good idea about the 3D printer.
Does someone have a 3D printer that can do this? I don't know **** about 3D printers and their accuracy. And if so how much would it cost me to have one of these guys printed out?

Ty for the effort Highway66. Unfortunately they do not carry Uncommon(specialty) sizes.

I may not be sure if it is an 18 or 16 but I am 100% positive it is not a 20 or 14. I compared it to my tap set but the biggest I have is an 18 and although it lines up to look ALMOST perfect with the 18 I don't have a 16 tap to compare it to, my bolt only has 4 threads, and I don't have a thread gauge. Also I am pretty sure it is metric, an 11mm is the same as a 7/16 but I think metric and US thread pitch is ever so slightly diffrent.

Ty FishTV. Unfortunately they only seem to carry G1/4 fittings. XSPC doesnt even have this plug as a replacement part on their products catalog. I would have just used a soda bottle as a replacement reservoir, but my reservoir is also the pump so I cannot do this. And thanks to christmas I am now working with my last $20, or I would have just bought a new res and pump. I'm trying to not make any changes to the reservoir so that if they do finally return my emails I can have them replace it free of charge. But if I go another week without my computer I will be forced to improvise and I will be looking for someone with some acrylic sealer to just essentially put a patch on the hole(this will void the warranty for sure).
