Thinking of changing over soon since the price of reactors has came down considerably. That and the since the Biopellets seem to be a bust in my tank. Wondering what local peoples experiances are with them.

Oh and yes...I am back! So if Reefkoi is still doing his online auctions you guys better upgrade your internet speeds, otherwise I will win everything again.

Really? What all do they carry from that line...going to ours tomorrow...hopefully they have what I would need. Gonna order the reactor tomorrow probably. Would be nice to have a local supplier for reagents.

im not so sure about zeovit. its been out, but its not proven. You can get same results with using live rock Berlin system, good flow and a phos ban reactor IMO. i think the additives are worth it though. AS long as u can provide a stable system with correct params you should be good with just using the additives, but even they are expenive. I read one guys swears by the additives. Im gonna try them out and see what they do cause my SPS dont have the best color and growth right now. Try it out and see what happens. Also go to Zeovit.com and become a member they can help u out getting started if ya need to.

The PetCo I saw it at was the "upgraded" PetCo. It has a frag tank and everything, one mean looking leptastrea to boot! It was the PetCo brand, not sure if there's a difference in the brands. From what I've read, zeo is another ULN system.

As far as being proven, I've seen a lot of TOTM on RC that say otherwise.

Just curious how long did ya run em for? Was about to give up on mine and like night and day after about the 6th week any remaining uglies disappeared. If I feed heavy I might get some dust on the glass a day or two after, but aside from that been pretty pleased. Ran about half a bag in a tlf. If anything wish I ran just a little more to help out after any heavy feeding.

And one last question, prices dropped on the z reactors? Which ones are ya looking out was looking at em tonight and still seems crazy pricey for what it is.

I had them in for over 8 months and never really saw that much improvment out of the system from before I had them in. I also have a huge bioload in the tank, and run my Vertex LEDs for close to 12 hours a day (not always 100%, slow ramp up/down...cloud cover, thunderstorms). I had high hopes for the Biopellets, but had issues with STN/Polyp extension. Been following the Zeo forums for a while now, so I am familiar with the basic instructions. Just wondering if anyone had any use w/ them, or maybe hybridised a method using them.

The reactor I am looking at is the vertex from fishsupply.com, it runs $135. http://www.fishsupply.com/sra-zf15.html
