Anyone using mangroves in there sump

So I bought 3 mangroves yesterday and I am curious do how deep of water can they be in? How deep of sandbed do they need? Can they have light 24 hours a day?


300 gallon mixed reef
90 gallon bowfront fowlr

I have mine in my 20 long sump. Reverse daylight, 5" of sand. I spray them with ro water every few days.

How deep is your water to your sand?

You want the tip of the mangrove seed to stick out of the water.

Huh thats just what i was told when we got them, mine is actually fully submerged and growing.
